PRODUCTION ARTIST / ASSISTANT
This is a junior, PRODUCTION position, NOT a graphic design position
though you may have some opportunity to use and grow your design skills. We
are a fast-paced but positive environment where success and advancement is
based on performance and attitude. The ideal candidate for this job will
have strong production skills, a good attitude, want to work in the industry
in a small but growing agency.
REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum of 2 years on the job experience
• Proficiency in the following Macintosh-based programs:
In Design
Quark Xpress
Photoshop
Illustrator
• Strong file preparation skills, expertise in preparing Macintosh files to
industry standard for print production.
• High level of attention to detail
• Ability to handle a busy, deadline-driven environment
• Excellent English language skills (written and spoken)
• Personable and customer service oriented
• Positive attitude
DUTIES INCLUDE
• Preparing Macintosh files for print production to industry standard
• Assisting Creative Director and Art Director, ie, making changes to client
digital files, communicating with clients, etc.
• Coordinating with our print manager, various printers and publications
START DATE: Immediately
